The Sacramento-based Lloyd Diesel Technologies is attending state Air Resources Board events to share information on improving existing Aftertreatment efficiency for trucks mandated to comply with state emission regulations.
Sacramento, California — Fresh from leading a clean technology breakout session at the Dec. 14 One-Stop Truck Event in Sacramento, heavy-duty diesel technology company Lloyd Diesel is gearing up for an encore presentation by invitation in Red Bluff on Jan. 18. The early 2017 event is the last of five truck regulation information sessions the California Air Resources Board has been holding around the state, from San Diego to the Bay Area, since August.
Learn About Compliance and Regulations at One Stop
The free One Stop events offer assistance for members of the trucking industry seeking help with their efforts to ensure compliance with California air quality regulations. Scheduled activities include truck inspection demonstrations, regulatory overviews and training, exploration of funding options, and vendor displays.
Lloyd Diesel Technologies attended the Sacramento event as a vendor with a display table, but also participated in the educational lineup by giving two 20-minute presentations open to the conference’s more than 150 registered attendees.
Improving Your Fleet Today
“Planning to integrate cleaner technologies into your fleet in the future is important, but why not make your existing trucks more efficient right now?”
Lloyd Diesel Technologies was one of only two speakers at the event to present information on “New Technology Options for Compliance,” and was the only presenter that focused on how to improve existing Aftertreatment efficiency for truck engines. The other technology presenter, Cummins, discussed a new natural gas engine as an option for tomorrow’s fleets.
“Planning to integrate cleaner technologies into your fleet in the future is important, but why not make your existing trucks more efficient right now?” Lloyd Diesel director of business development Aaron Bird said, explaining the immediate positive impact engine optimization can make on both a company’s bottom line and the environment as a whole. “Lloyd Diesel is the country’s first and only company that improves your fleet’s efficiency today, by improving your current, compliant Aftertreatment system.”
Optimized engines are critical for diesel fleet owners who want to meet emission standards while avoiding excessive repairs and maintenance costs triggered by factory-installed systems and diesel particulate filters designed to reduce pollution from exhaust. Lloyd Diesel’s program focuses on reducing or eliminating premature DPF failure, minimizing vehicle downtime, and improving engine efficiency. The benefits begin with LDT Optimization and continue over time, ultimately saving money as mileage improves and more trucks stay on the road longer.
The Jan. 18 One-Stop event in Red Bluff runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sign up to attend by calling (916) 322-3937, then pressing “1” at the prompt, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
