Preventative Repair &
WHAT IS LDT PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE?
An on-going service that reduces Aftertreatment repair downtime and maintenance costs while improving Aftertreatment efficiency, by preventing progressive damage and forecasting potential issues.
Aftertreatment Health Reporting
Every 90 days, LDT will perform an Aftertreatment maintenance inspection on all contracted vehicles. LDT will provide a comprehensive report on vehicle Aftertreatment health covering regen intervals, regen effectiveness, DPF health, DOC health, and repair/service recommendations. This report identifies any potential or looming issues, and may also include service forecasting, such as potential DPF failure or Turbo failure, when applicable.
Preventative Repair/Maintenance Reporting
When applicable, a description of recommended repairs will be provided. These repairs are necessary to achieve maximum efficiency and to prevent progressive damage which causes large scale Aftertreatment failure. They should be addressed within the recommended time frame to limit repair and downtime expenses. These recommendations may include non-fault code dependent issues typically overlooked by most service centers, and are based on root-cause analysis of potential issues. In other words, these recommendations fix the problem, not just put a band-aid on the symptom.
Aftertreatment Maintenance Training
Your service technician will learn OEM specific Aftertreatment troubleshooting, maintenance, and diagnostics using LDT Best Practices and Standards for optimal efficiency. These practices are easily integrated into existing maintenance schedules and require minimal extra time or tools.
